Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Loves Park, Illinois
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for a full school year. In this dynamic contract role, you’ll work with PreK through 3rd grade students at a single location, focusing on speech and language development to help children succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- School-based experience with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students in PreK-3rd grades
- Develop individualized therapy plans, set achievable goals, and monitor progress
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language interventions onsite
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Maintain timely and accurate records aligned with district and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on student needs and progress
