Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Illinois SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
- Previous experience in school settings is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with a range of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with school and district protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized educational plans
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and support staff to enhance classroom communication strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely records, adhering to all necessary documentation and reporting standards
