You’ll work with supportive school teams across 2 high schools and 1 elementary location, rotating half the week between the engaging Westmoreland campus and Lane schools. With a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, you’ll be able to explore the trails, rivers, and renowned local cuisine during downtime. You’ll collaborate with professionals who are passionate about student growth while enjoying the independence and leadership that comes with managing your own caseload. Monthly team meetings and virtual check-ins, alongside in-person support from sped educators, paraprofessionals, and assistants, ensure you will always feel encouraged and included.

Ideal for SLPs seeking exposure to life skills programming and opportunities to learn or utilize skills in safe feeding, swallowing, and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC)—experience is preferred, but comprehensive training is available. You’ll strengthen your expertise in both high-needs and socialization-focused environments, all while growing as a clinician and leader.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active SLP-CCC or eligibility for licensure
  • Familiarity with school-based services and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Interest in or experience with feeding, swallowing, and AAC (training provided if needed)
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 33 students
  • Collaborative and organized, able to work with diverse teams and independently

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services across 2 high schools and 1 elementary
  • Support life skills programming; feeding, swallowing, and AAC training offered
  • Document student progress and participate in team meetings
  • Consult and collaborate with classroom staff, assistive personnel, and family members
