You’ll help change lives at two high schools and one elementary school from September 8, 2026, through June 17, 2027, dedicating 40 hours per week to a caseload of approximately 33 students. Your week will be split between Westmoreland and Lane campuses, serving students in life skills programming. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your clinical expertise, expand your resume, and experience diverse educational models—while collaborating with a dynamic, supportive team of SLPs and special education professionals.
What you bring:
- SLP license with CCC certification (or eligibility)
- Experience in school settings appreciated
- Familiarity or interest in feeding and swallowing (safe eating) and AAC encouraged (training available)
- Strong communication, independence, and organizational skills
Your responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to a diverse caseload
- Support life skill initiatives, safe eating practices, and socialization efforts
- Collaborate with onsite and virtual SLPs, SPED team, paras, and assistants
- Adapt interventions for individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in monthly team meetings and ongoing professional support
