Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based pediatric caseloads
- Florida licensure (or eligibility in process)
- Comfortable working with students with diverse and complex communication needs
- Ability to supervise and mentor an SLPA
- Familiarity with IEP development and related documentation
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide direct therapy services
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings with a collaborative, student-centered approach
- Deliver consultative services and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support students’ goals
- Document services, maintain Medicaid records, and stay current with all required paperwork
- Supervise the onsite SLPA, offering guidance and support
- Serve a caseload of approximately 60 students, supported by the school’s resources
This position offers a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) and runs through June 1, 2026. You’ll work in a dedicated therapy space and receive targeted training on the district’s IEP documentation system.
