Key Qualifications:
- Possess or be eligible for appropriate Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Florida
- Open to SLPs with CCC, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, and SLPAs with school-based experience
- Strong foundational skills in diagnostics, therapy planning, and delivering individualized and group interventions
- Attention to detail in maintaining progress notes, IEP documentation, and goal tracking
- Outstanding communication skills for interaction with students, caregivers, and educational staff
- Adaptable approach and the desire to work with diverse student populations and ages
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to assess and monitor speech-language needs
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies across the school environment
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings, providing input for educational planning
- Support parents and caregivers with resources, updates, and guidance on students’ progress
