School Speech Language Pathologist - Englewood, CO
Step into an impactful contract role supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. Located in the Denver area, this onsite-only position allows you to collaborate with education professionals and help students across various schools achieve communication milestones. This is a full-time opportunity, Monday through Friday, with start and end dates running from August 6, 2026, through May 26, 2027.
Preferred backgrounds and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification
- Current Colorado SLP license
- Ability to complete district required background check and fingerprinting
- Experience with school-age caseloads (elementary, middle, or high school), ideally ranging from 25 to 45 students
- Strong assessment, intervention planning, and communication skills
- New Clinical Fellows considered, provided supervision can be arranged
- Please note: this position is not open to SLPAs or virtual providers
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct therapy for speech and language needs onsite
- Conducting evaluations and maintaining student documentation in line with IEP requirements
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participating in and billing for professional development days as allowed by the district
- Traveling between schools as assignments vary
