Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Emporia, VA

This opportunity offers two onsite SLP or SLPA positions, with supervision available for SLPAs from an experienced virtual SLP, ensuring high-quality support for both staff and students. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- SLP or SLP-CCC licensure; SLPA candidates encouraged to apply
- Eligible for Virginia licensure or certification as required
- Comfortable working with K-12 caseloads across multiple school sites
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt interventions and support to diverse student needs
- Experience with virtual supervision a plus for SLPA candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services and interventions to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments and help develop IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Support students’ speech, language, and communication needs within the school setting
- Track student progress, maintain documentation, and report outcomes
- Consult and collaborate closely with educators and families to maximize student potential
- Travel between assigned sites as needed (within reasonable proximity)
