Speech Language Pathologist in Emporia, VA

We're seeking two dedicated SLPs, holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), to work with a diverse K-12 student caseload across one to three school sites. This rewarding contract role runs from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, giving you the opportunity to shape students’ communication success throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid SLP-CCC credential
- Experience with school-based caseloads, K-12 preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, speech assessments, and therapy planning for a range of communication disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to work onsite across multiple school sites as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Conduct thorough assessments and contribute expertise to IEP development and meetings
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in data collection to monitor student growth
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student achievement and inclusion
