Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current NY State Speech-Language Pathologist License
- TSSLD certification required
- SLP-CCC credential
- Previous experience with school-based speech services preferred
- Ability to work onsite with PreK and elementary student caseloads
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ready to cover locations in the Hornell and Bath areas
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to support students’ IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure continuity of care
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate records and stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
- Travel between designated schools in the region as assigned
