Qualifications:

  • Valid Maryland SLP certification required for SLP candidates
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLP positions
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) acceptable for SLP candidates
  • SLPA certification for assistant roles
  • Experience working with pediatric and autistic populations is highly desirable
  • Flexibility to participate in onsite interviews and engage directly with students during the evaluation process

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy evaluations and interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique communication needs of each child
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
