School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Ellicott City, Maryland

Opportunities available at multiple elementary schools include supporting students in general education, early childhood, or K–5 settings, with caseloads tailored to your strengths and interests. Some positions may extend through the end of the school year, offering consistency and meaningful connections with each school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech/language disorders in elementary students
- Partner with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
- Provide support and training in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed
- Maintain all required documentation in line with school and district guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP processes
- Adapt services to both general education and specialized regional program needs
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- AAC experience is a plus, especially for certain caseloads
- Able to work onsite, 5 days per week (37.5 hours)
- Skilled in communication, organization, and collaboration with diverse student populations
