Key Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)
- Familiarity with school-based IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse student populations K-12
- Commitment to student-centered support and progress
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy for students in grades K-12
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine needs
- Develop, update, and implement IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Document student progress, maintain required records, and communicate outcomes
- Provide consultation and training to teachers and classroom staff as needed
- Engage parents/guardians to support students’ communication goals
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities
