School Speech Language Pathologist - Elk River, Minnesota
Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting K–5 students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 academic year. What we’re looking for:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Minnesota SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Professional experience in a school environment preferred
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy for elementary students (K–5)
- Managing a caseload of approximately 40–45 students with needs ranging from articulation and fluency disorders to autism spectrum and developmental delays
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and documenting progress
- Consulting with teachers, staff, and families to support diverse learners
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal special education requirements
