Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Elgin, Illinois

Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Professional Educator License (PEL) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school settings, especially with middle school/secondary grade populations (grades 6-8)
- Background or familiarity with pediatric speech-language pathology interventions
- Capability to support CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates is a plus
- Previous experience with healthcare documentation in educational settings highly valued
- Strong collaborative skills; comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students on caseload
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Partner with classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes
- Document assessments, therapy sessions, and communication with stakeholders in compliance with school standards
- Support school functions and participate in IEP meetings as needed
