School Speech Language Pathologist - Chicago, IL

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA CCC and active Illinois SLP license
- Recent experience in a school-based setting, preferably with middle school students

- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students in grades 6-8
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing progress and recommendations
- Maintain thorough records and comply with all documentation standards
- Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student success
- Offer support and resources for classroom staff regarding speech and language strategies
