Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- IL Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
- Illinois SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English preferred
- Experience in a school setting is advantageous, especially working with diverse student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment plans for students, tailoring intervention strategies to individual needs
- Manage a full-time caseload, working across multiple school sites as needed
- Monitor student progress, maintain timely documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success
- Deliver culturally responsive services, especially for bilingual students
