Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license (Illinois)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligible CFY
- Experience with pediatrics, preferably in school or teletherapy settings
- Familiarity with IEP systems and documentation in educational settings
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support student needs across multiple school sites
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Passion for fostering student growth and progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs according to student requirements
- Attend and participate in team meetings, offering insights and recommendations
- Document progress and communicate effectively with staff and families
- Consult with teachers and other professionals, supporting an inclusive approach
- Travel between assigned schools if needed; paid travel time provided
- Receive training on the district's IEP system for smooth onboarding
- Supervision provided for CFY candidates
