Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a diverse school district community. This full-time assignment runs from now through June 25, 2027, providing speech services district-wide, Monday through Friday, from 8:15AM to 3:15PM (35 hours per week). Your experience and professionalism will make a real impact on students' communication and learning outcomes.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Current NJ SLP license (CCC required)
- Demonstrated school-based SLP experience
- Proficiency working independently within a school district
- Ability to manage a range of caseloads and provide services as needed
- Skilled in conducting evaluations, assessments, and completing all related documentation
- Willingness to provide your own testing materials, as required by the district
- Satisfactory TB test, physical, and fingerprinting for compliance with agency and district onboarding
- Reliable transportation and willingness to commute within the area
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Please note: This opportunity does not offer supervision for CF or SLPA candidates
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services across district schools
- Manage a full caseload, ensuring students receive thorough evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Conduct testing and create tailored therapy plans based on assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support staff to enhance student success
- Maintain accurate service records and contribute to the overall IEP process
