This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule in a diverse district setting, with a commitment from ASAP through June 25, 2027. Your work will be integral across the district, helping students achieve their communication goals within a collaborative educational team.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (CCC required)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is essential
- Comfortable working district-wide and traveling as needed
- Ability to manage a caseload, handling therapy, testing, evaluations, and assessments
- Must supply your own testing materials
- Reliable transportation for consistent district travel
- Able to commit to a 35-hour work week (Monday-Friday, 8:15AM–3:15PM)
- Cannot accept CF or SLPA candidates at this time
- Successful completion of onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, and fingerprinting (agency and district)
- Must disclose any necessary information upfront about caseload servicing or comfort level with district needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students, individually and in groups
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and timely evaluations
- Document student progress according to school and state-guided compliance requirements
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and team members to develop and update individualized plans
- Travel across district sites as assigned, supporting students wherever the need arises
