Qualifications:
- Current SLP license in the state or eligibility to obtain one prior to start
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working with school-aged children a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy sessions based on student needs and IEP goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports per school and district guidelines
- Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide recommendations for classroom adaptations and support
