Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC-SLP or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Experience working in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred
- Strong foundation in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy interventions to meet the needs of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy sessions for students with communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Document progress and provide detailed reports for school teams and parents
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Offer training and resources to teachers and staff to foster a supportive learning environment
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to speech therapy services
