Speech Language Pathologist in Minneapolis, MN
Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting students from early childhood through high school. As an Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll join a cohesive team providing vital support for a diverse caseload. This contract opportunity ensures a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week, beginning in late August and continuing through the end of March.
Your expertise will be valued as you rotate between K-5 and 9-12 caseloads, helping to bridge coverage across the district while collaborating with a supportive team of SLPs. You’ll have the flexibility to engage with students at different developmental levels and make a meaningful impact during key transitions of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Successful experience supporting students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Adaptable to rotating assignments and varied student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language services to students from ECSE through 12th grade
- Rotate between elementary and high school caseloads as needed
- Develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans in alignment with school policies
- Consult with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student growth
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
