Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid or eligible state licensure for speech-language pathology
- Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP roles preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based methods and materials
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and ongoing documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
