Pediatric School-Based SLP | Eden Prairie, Minnesota
This position offers opportunities to provide Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services primarily within a K-8 school setting. The role involves supporting evaluation processes as well as delivering direct therapy to approximately 12 students on caseload. This opportunity is based in the St. Paul, MN area, with work conducted about 2 to 2 1/2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students ranging from Kindergarten through 8th grade
- Utilize teletherapy methods as appropriate to supplement in-person support
- Collaborate with school staff and families to enhance student communication outcomes
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with eligibility to work in a school setting
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations and providing teletherapy services
- Ability to support evaluation processes effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
