An educational opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience across various grade levels, from Early Childhood through High School. This contract position is located in Reno, NV, offering a chance to apply specialized skills in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and intervention services for speech and language development in students.
- Support students ranging from Pre-K through Grade 12, including Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School levels.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly.
- Maintain compliance with educational standards and regulations.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with diverse student populations across multiple grade levels: Pre K, Early Childhood, Elementary School (K-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), and High School (Grades 9-12).
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
