Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC certification to make a positive impact working with K-12 students in a supportive environment. This contract position is located near Easton, Maryland and will run from late August through mid-June of the following year, offering a chance to serve students across various needs and age groups.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active Maryland SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in Maryland schools strongly preferred
- Comfortable serving a varied caseload, including students with moderate to severe needs
- Ability to work independently across multiple campuses
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary, middle, and high school students
- Serve a caseload consisting of spot-fill needs, including a self-contained high school group with moderate to severe requirements
- Travel between school sites as an itinerant therapist, supporting students wherever there is need
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, student progress, and required compliance paperwork
- Engage in ongoing communication with school staff to support student outcomes
