Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based opportunity in East Orange, New Jersey for the 2026–2027 school year.
This position is primarily full-time at 32.5 hours per week, but the district is also willing to present the opportunity to part-time SLP candidates. The selected SLP will support elementary students along with early childhood students in several additional schools.

SLP Responsibilities
The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide school-based speech and language services to elementary students and early childhood classrooms.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy
- Supporting elementary-aged students
- Working with early childhood students across additional school locations
- Assessing students' speech and language needs
- Developing and implementing appropriate therapy plans
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and educational teams
- Maintaining required documentation and student records
- Supporting students' communication and educational goals
Qualifications
Candidates must have:
- Active New Jersey SLP License
- New Jersey Department of Education (NJ DOE) certification
- Ability to meet standard New Jersey credentialing requirements
Schedule Flexibility
The district is looking for a full-time SLP, with the standard schedule being 32.5 hours per week.
However, the district is also willing to present part-time candidates, making this an option for SLPs who may be seeking a reduced schedule.
