Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - East Orange, New Jersey

Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in New Jersey
- Current New Jersey Department of Education certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in early childhood and elementary settings
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered interventions
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Deliver direct therapy to students in individual and group settings within the school environment
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to support student success
- Educate and consult with staff and caregivers on speech/language strategies and accommodations
- Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices
