Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - East Lansing, MI
Make an impact this school year by supporting the needs of early childhood students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a dedicated, contract assignment. We’re seeking experienced SLPs to cover two maternity leaves—full time in Stockbridge and part time in Dansville—from December 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about providing impactful speech and language services to young learners.
Qualifications:
- Possess an active Michigan SLP license (required)
- Must have Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in schools and with early childhood students highly preferred
- SLPAs and remote/VOCO applicants will not be considered
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to an early childhood caseload, addressing individual student needs
- Complete assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain updated documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Provide both direct and consultative support as needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning for student success
