Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for the state and active ASHA CCC-SLP certification, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- In-depth understanding of common speech and language disorders in children
- Ability to craft and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide screening, evaluation, and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary-aged students
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that support each student’s goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families to foster optimal student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation for all therapy sessions and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student support strategies
