Desired Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques with K-12 students
- Skillful in maintaining records, writing reports, and developing IEP goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students onsite as part of their IEPs
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with special education teams and families
- Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and supports to help students thrive academically and socially
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for ongoing student development
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy interventions as necessary to meet student goals
