What you bring to the role:
- Current and active California SLP-CCC certification (required)
- Experience working with K-12 populations, or a strong desire to do so
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of communication disorders
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to student progress and well-being
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering direct therapy to students in one-on-one or group settings (ages and caseload may vary)
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and support staff to support students’ IEP goals
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with program and state guidelines
- Serving as a resource for families, helping them support their child’s communication needs
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams
You’ll enjoy a competitive pay range from $60 to $68 per hour, along with the flexibility to begin as soon as possible or plan for the new school year, depending on your preference. This assignment runs through the end of the current academic year, offering both immediate and lasting impact.
