Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, voice, or communication disorders across K-12 grades
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication goals in the classroom
- Maintaining accurate documentation and timely progress reports as required by the district and state guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences
- Providing training and resources for staff and families to support effective communication strategies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current California Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CA SLP-CCC) is required
- Previous school-based SLP experience is ideal, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable serving a range of ages and ability levels
Details:
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- K-12 caseload (subject to assignment changes)
- Competitive pay between $60 and $68 per hour, based on experience
- Positions available for both immediate and next school year start, through the end of the school year
