Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare environments beneficial
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal setting for students with communication needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate, student-centered approach

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine speech and language therapy needs for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions, adapting methods and materials based on student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support generalization of skills across settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide guidance and training to school staff and families about communication disorders and strategies
