Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with school-aged children and pediatric populations
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP processes, current therapy techniques, and best practices for school-based interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Develop and participate in IEP meetings, providing input and status updates for team planning
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and communicate with families and staff
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions within the school environment
- Engage in professional development to stay updated on best practices and compliance requirements
