Speech Language Pathologist in Milford, DE

This full-time position (37.5 hours/week) focuses on delivering high-quality, individualized speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs, including moderate to severe disabilities. Your work will be essential in helping students access education and develop vital communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for a Delaware state SLP license
- SLP-CCC or CFY candidates welcome to apply
- Autism Specialist experience or familiarity with assistive technology, augmentative/alternative communication, and working with school-aged populations is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Comfort and compassion when working with students aged 2–22 with diverse physical and developmental needs
- Flexible, solutions-oriented mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and plan interventions for areas such as social/pragmatic language, articulation, voice, oral-motor skills, feeding, receptive and expressive language, and technology supports
- Conduct thorough diagnostic and evaluation assessments for referred students
- Write clear and comprehensive reporting based on observations and testing
- Develop and maintain IEP objectives tailored to each student
- Collaborate actively with families, educators, and support staff to ensure optimal student outcomes
- Foster a supportive environment where students can progress at their own pace
