Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Delaware SLP licensure/certification required (confirmation must be provided with application)
- Completion of a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with therapy documentation, IEP writing, and conducting evaluations
- Comfortable working with multiple grade levels and flexible caseloads
- Proficient using Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP systems, or willingness to learn
- SLPAs not being considered at this time
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech therapy services to students
- Conduct speech/language evaluations and actively participate in eligibility determinations
- Develop comprehensive IEPs tailored to student needs, in collaboration with parents and fellow educators
- Attend and contribute to IEP and team meetings
- Maintain accurate therapy notes and collect progress monitoring data
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment for students across grade levels (assignments pending)
