Your responsibilities will involve:
- Assessing and determining student eligibility for services addressing articulation/phonology, voice disorders, fluency, and language.
- Conducting thorough reviews of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), along with initial and re-evaluations as needed.
- Delivering individualized and group therapy sessions to a caseload of approximately 55 elementary students.
- Collaborating with teachers and parents to provide advice on strategies and techniques to address communicative difficulties, ensuring student needs are met effectively.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to school and district policies.
The ideal candidate brings:
- Current Delaware State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience or strong interest in working within pediatric and school environments.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- A collaborative approach, with willingness to supervise or assist as needed.
