Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license (must provide valid/active license upon application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience delivering therapy in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering positive learning outcomes for elementary-aged students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and set therapeutic goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students’ academic and social development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and progress notes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary discussions
- Remain current with best practices and continue professional growth throughout the contract
This contract position is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and will run through early June 2027. The role entails 35 hours per week onsite at a welcoming elementary school, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day.
