School Speech Language Pathologist - Disputanta, Virginia

Make a genuine difference in the lives of K-12 students while expanding your skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant on a contract basis. Two positions are available supporting a diverse student population across one to three school sites, with a robust support system, including supervision for SLPAs from an experienced virtual SLP.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure/certification as SLP-CCC or SLPA
- Schools-based experience preferred
- Confident working with K-12 caseloads, providing assessments, direct therapy, and communication with educators and families
- Strong collaborative approach, able to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable traveling between up to three nearby school locations
- Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to K-12 students, addressing a range of communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and your virtual SLP supervisor to create IEP goals and progress reports
- Provide both group and individual sessions, tailoring interventions to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain documentation according to school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise as an advocate for your students
