Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid Michigan SLP license and current SLP-CCC certification
- Experience with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
- Proven ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide evidence-based therapy services to address communication disorders
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as required
