A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide services in a school setting. This position is based in Detroit, MI, and involves working with students from kindergarten through 5th grade.
The assignment runs from August 26, 2026, to June 5, 2027, with a workweek of 38 to 40 hours. The caseload includes approximately 53 students, all within one school site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-5.
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in school-based speech therapy.
- Ability to manage a caseload of this size effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
