Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in schools, especially elementary settings, preferred
- Strong knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and best practices in educational SLP services
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Manage a diverse caseload, including support for non-public school populations
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized goals, and participate in IEP meetings
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district policies
