The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through June 1, 2027, providing a stable schedule during the academic year.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver on-site speech and language therapy services in an elementary or PreK-12 environment
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide direct intervention and consult with teachers and families to maximize student success
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student goals
- Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports
Qualifications:
- Active Florida DOH Provisional SLP License necessary
- Strong preference for prior school-based SLP experience
- Ability to complete fingerprinting and credentialing requirements as per Florida and school district standards
- Capability to work independently and as part of a supportive school team
- Passion for helping students achieve communication milestones
This position is strictly onsite, allowing direct interaction with students and school staff, and does not offer virtual or teletherapy options. Your workweek will offer up to 37.5 hours, with all services based at a single school assignment for consistency and focus.
