Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting the educational and communication needs of students at the elementary level. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll make a direct and lasting impact, working onsite and collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.

The focus is on providing thoughtful, evidence-based speech services for a diverse range of young learners at a local elementary school. You will play a crucial role in helping students access the curriculum and develop essential communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Illinois SLP State License and Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy services based on IEP requirements and student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s goals and progress.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute valuable input regarding student needs and progress.
  • Engage in professional development activities as appropriate.
