Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Illinois SLP State License and Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services based on IEP requirements and student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s goals and progress.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute valuable input regarding student needs and progress.
- Engage in professional development activities as appropriate.
