Step into an impactful role serving diverse learners as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple school sites in the Elgin area. Work closely with dedicated education teams to provide high-quality on-site SLP services throughout the academic year.

This assignment begins August 27, 2026, and runs through June 16, 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week). Staffing is flexible; caseloads and age groups will be assigned based on district needs and may involve various school sites to fulfill a full-time position. As a bilingual Spanish-English SLP-CCC, you’ll help bridge communication and academic gaps for students who need it most.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold an active Illinois Professional Educator License with an SLP endorsement
  • Hold an active Illinois SLP license (CCC-SLP required)
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English
  • Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students across assigned campuses
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate effectively with educators and family members to support students’ goals
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet the needs of an evolving, multicultural student body
  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
