Elementary Middle School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Des Plaines, IL

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Illinois State License (IDFPR) and ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language endorsement
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is essential
- Open to first-year SLPs (CF-SLPs) as well as experienced practitioners
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred, but strong clinical skills and willingness to learn are valued
- Ability to adapt to varying student needs across elementary, middle, and high school caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to K-12 students in individual and group settings
- Conduct evaluations and develop tailored intervention plans based on student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide culturally responsive services in both English and Spanish
