This assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through May 26, 2027. You'll be part of a dedicated team of professionals, working 35 hours each week, across five days, and enjoying a highly competitive hourly rate of $48.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois SLP License and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Strong interpersonal abilities and collaborative mindset
- Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive environment for students and colleagues
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, intervention, and support services to students in assigned age group
- Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with educators and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes according to state and district requirements
- Consult with teachers and staff to implement effective communication strategies in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as needed
