Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Cicero, Illinois

What You'll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP state licensure and, if applicable, readiness for CFY supervision
- Experience in school environments and/or pediatric settings preferred
- Knowledge of teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery strongly desired
- Solid understanding of IEPs, goal development, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Compassion, patience, and a true desire to support each student's growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a diverse group of K-12 students in accordance with their IEPs
- Utilize a mix of in-person and teletherapy delivery, adapting to student needs and district protocol
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and follow compliance standards as required by state and school regulations
